The Leadership Consortium Participant Agreement 

This Agreement (“Agreement” or “Participant Agreement”) is entered into by and between You (“You”) and The Learning Consortium ("TLC," "we," or "us"). The following Agreement governs Your access to and participation in the TLC program (“Program”).  Please read this Agreement carefully before You sign up for the Program. This Agreement is a binding agreement between You and TLC and shall be effective as of the date of Your acceptance of this Agreement (“Effective Date”).  

By accessing or participating in the Program, You agree to be bound and abide by the TLC Terms and Conditions, found at https://tlcleaders.com/terms-and-conditions, which includes the TLC Terms of Use, TLC Privacy Policy, and TLC Community Values, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. You consent to TLC collecting, using, retaining, and  sharing Your information, including personal information (collectively “Participant Data”) as required to provide the Program or as otherwise permitted in TLC’s Terms and Conditions.  If You do not want to agree to this Agreement and the Terms and Conditions, You must not sign up for or participate in our Program.

Our Programs are offered and available to users who 18 years of age or older. By signing up for our Program, You represent and warrant that You are of legal age to form a binding contract with TLC and meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If You do not meet all of these requirements, You must not sign up for or participate in our Program.

I. Overview of TLC

The Leadership Consortium convenes top talent in a virtual development program designed as a career accelerator and to support readiness for C-suite roles. The program includes an interactive leadership curriculum curated by TLC founder and renowned Harvard Business School professor Frances Frei and delivered by hand-picked Harvard Business School faculty. Participants deepen their learning and expand their networks through curated experiences with peer executives in the program. Select participants may choose the opportunity to translate learning into action through intensive leadership coaching. Leaders emerge from the program as more self-aware executives who lead stronger teams and have broader strategic command of their organizations.

II. Description of Program

The Program will have the below overall structure and components. Participants will choose from Track 1 or Track 2 which have distinct prices.

Track 1: Leadership Training

Education: Delivered virtually through collaboration software as designated by TLC. Programming includes an orientation session and then weekly classes, which are on a set day of the week and last approximately 2.5 hours per session. 

Community/Networked Learning: Participants have the opportunity to deepen their learning and expand their networks through collaboration with peer executives at best-in-class companies. Designed to maximize exposure to new ideas and perspectives, curated community experiences include engagements like an interactive speaker series and cross-company Peer Coaching Circles.

As part of Track 1: All participants will be offered:

  • A live, virtual orientation session

  • 8 interactive and virtual classes taught by Harvard Business School professors

  • 4 one-hour Peer Coaching Sessions led by a member of TLC’s esteemed coaching team

  • 4+ opportunities to virtually network with fellow TLC participants from best in class organizations

  • 2 “Ask the Expert” sessions led by TLC coaches and founders

Track 2: Leadership Coaching

In addition to the Education and Community elements described in Track 1, participants are offered the opportunity to translate learning into action through intensive leadership coaching. Using a targeted approach that rapidly surfaces and resolves barriers to personal leadership, the TLC coaching team features leaders with an exceptional track record of helping high-performing executives achieve increased organizational impact. 

Track 2 participants will receive all items within Track 1 plus:

  • An in-depth intake survey to map your goals and expectations for this engagement

  • A lightweight 360 

  • A TLC coach that is hand selected by TLC to meet your requests and goals

  • 4 one-hour 1:1 sessions

III. Schedule  

The Program has two different cohorts which are at different times. Participants will opt into the session timing of their choice.  

  • Education components of Cohort 1 will take place at 8:30 pm ET on the following dates: 9/12/2023, 9/20/2023, 9/26/2023, 10/03/2023, 10/17/2023, 10/24/2023, 10/30/2023, 11/07/2023.

  • Education components of Cohort 2 will take place at 12 pm ET on the following dates: 9/12/2023, 9/21/2023, 9/27/2023, 10/04/2023, 10/18/2023, 10/25/2023, 11/01/2023, 11/08/2023.

However, TLC reserves the right to modify the date and time of any Program up to the day of the scheduled date. TLC will notify You via the email you provide to TLC concerning any changes to the date and times of the Program you purchased.   

IV. Payment and Reimbursement

TLC is offering limited invitations to participate in the program at a subsidized cost for the Fall 2023 program only. For this select number of invitations, the cost of the Fall 2023 program is $4,500 for Track 1 and $8,500 for Track 2. All costs shall be due and payable upon execution of this Agreement. You shall make all payments hereunder through our online payment portal and in US dollars. Should You wish to no longer attend our Program, You have up to one calendar week prior (9/5/2023) to the scheduled start date of the Program (9/12/2023) to request reimbursement. You can request a reimbursement by contacting us via the methods outlined above. TLC shall refund your original payment method. TLC reserves the right to deny a refund request in its sole discretion, including but not limited to You making a request outside the permitted timeframe, or for Your violation of this Agreement or the TLC Terms and Conditions.

V. Your Responsibilities

  • You shall read and accept the Terms and Conditions at https://tlcleaders.com/terms-and-conditions and comply with the terms and obligations outlined therein, including the TLC Community Values.

  • You must have access to the Zoom conference technology used by TLC to deliver the Program and take all other necessary action to access all communications and technology used in the Program. Instructions will be provided prior to commencement of the Program. 

  • In connection with the provision of the Program, You shall comply with all applicable laws. You have the sole responsibility for the accuracy, quality, integrity, legality, reliability, and appropriateness relating to any Participant Data. TLC does not assume responsibility for unintended, objectionable, inaccurate, misleading, or unlawful Participant Data used in connection with the Program. Unless otherwise required in order to provide the Program, TLC will have no obligation to archive, back up, or, following the term of the Agreement, retain Participant Data. TLC is not liable for any breach of applicable law relating to participant data or loss or corruption of Participant Data.
